SCW Foundation provides a free referral service to help residents identify transportation options that meet their specific needs. Staff are available to offer information on Valley Metro, Dial-a-Ride, senior transit, ride-share services, and more. Monthly support classes are also available to help residents understand available options and how to use them.

What Is Find Your Ride?
Find Your Ride is a free transportation referral service provided by Sun City West Foundation. We do not provide rides, but our trained staff help connect residents to local transportation options that best match their needs. This includes guidance on eligibility, contact details, and next steps for services such as RideChoice, Uber, Lyft, and other ADA-compliant programs.
Personalized Support
How the Program Helps
Residents can call our dedicated team for help identifying appropriate transportation services. Staff will explain available options, provide printed materials, and refer callers to the right agency or provider. We also offer a monthly informational class to review local ride programs and answer questions.

Find Your Ride Support Session
This free, monthly class provides information on senior-friendly transportation options. Topics include how to access RideChoice, Uber, Lyft, Dial-a-Ride, and other ride services.

Public Transit – Valley Metro
- Ride Choice: 602-716-2200 — ADA certified riders only. $3 per ride plus $2 per mile after the first 8 miles. 24/7 service, limit 20 rides/month.
- Northwest Valley Local ADA Paratransit: 602-716-2200 — ADA certified only. Operates within ¾ mile of a bus route. $4 per ride, runs during bus schedule.
- Express Bus Route 571: Surprise to Downtown Phoenix. No reservation needed. 5:50 AM outbound / 4:30 PM return. $3.25 one way or $6.50 day pass. Info: 602-253-5000.
Nonprofits with Volunteer Drivers
- Northwest Valley Connect / Foundation for Senior Living: 623-282-9300 — Volunteer drivers. No cost, not guaranteed. Call 1 week in advance.
- Benevilla Cares: 623-526-4404 — Rides for medical and more. No cost, call in advance.
- Area Agency on Aging: 602-264-4357 — Volunteer escorts for appointments. AmeriCorps volunteers available for ongoing support.

Helping Hands provides free, short-term loans of medical and children’s equipment to residents of Sun City West and nearby communities. From wheelchairs to cribs, our goal is to support health and independence with trusted resources during recovery, rehabilitation, or family visits. All of which is possible with donations like yours.
Our banquet and meeting rooms are open to everyone and offered at discounted rates for Sun City West residents. Choose from a variety of sizes and layouts, including ADA-accessible spaces with kitchen access, AV support, and setup included—perfect for clubs, events, or community gatherings.
