SCW Foundation provides a free referral service to help residents identify transportation options that meet their specific needs. Staff are available to offer information on Valley Metro, Dial-a-Ride, senior transit, ride-share services, and more. Monthly support classes are also available to help residents understand available options and how to use them.

What Is Find Your Ride?

Find Your Ride is a free transportation referral service provided by Sun City West Foundation. We do not provide rides, but our trained staff help connect residents to local transportation options that best match their needs. This includes guidance on eligibility, contact details, and next steps for services such as RideChoice, Uber, Lyft, and other ADA-compliant programs.

How the Program Helps

Residents can call our dedicated team for help identifying appropriate transportation services. Staff will explain available options, provide printed materials, and refer callers to the right agency or provider. We also offer a monthly informational class to review local ride programs and answer questions.

Find Your Ride Support Session

This free, monthly class provides information on senior-friendly transportation options. Topics include how to access RideChoice, Uber, Lyft, Dial-a-Ride, and other ride services.

When: Fourth Thursday of every month
Where: Typically held in a meeting room at the Foundation

Find Your Ride helps you find a ride that fits your needs. The services below are independent providers — call the one that's right for you, or call our center and we'll help you choose.

Find Your Ride Call Center Start here — we'll point you in the right direction Open Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – Noon

Public Transit — Valley Metro

  • Ride Choice

    Must be ADA certified. $3 per ride, plus $2 per mile after the first 8 miles. Available 24/7, with a limit of 20 rides per month. Other packages offer 40 rides per month or a 400-mile cap.

  • Northwest Valley Local ADA Paratransit

    Must be ADA certified. Travel within an ADA area (3/4 mile of a bus route). $4 per ride. Call the day before; runs during bus-route hours. Goes anywhere the buses run.

  • Express Bus Route 571

    No reservation needed. Surprise to Downtown Phoenix at 5:50 AM, returning 4:30 PM. $3.25 one way or $6.50 for a day pass.

Nonprofits with Volunteer Drivers

  • All Thrive 365

    Volunteer driver program. No cost; rides are not guaranteed. Call a week in advance. Accessible rides offered.

  • Benevilla Cares

    Volunteer rides to medical appointments and other services. No cost; rides are not guaranteed. Call a week in advance.

  • Area Agency on Aging

    Medical Chaperone program — a volunteer stays with you during the procedure and brings you home. An AmeriCorps program also assigns a volunteer to help a senior with rides and more. Grant-funded; call for availability. No cost; not guaranteed.

  • Go Go Grandparents

    Membership program with three packages. Go Go orders Uber or Lyft for seniors — 24/7, no smartphone needed. Can also help order grocery and pharmacy delivery, Instacart, and more.

  • Loving Angels

    Home care agency providing rides, shopping, meal prep, showering help, and more.

  • Compassionate Caregiving & Transportation Services

    Senior transport at the level of service you need — door-through-door, staying with you at appointments, running errands, and more. Charged by round trip or hourly.

  • Wanda

    Senior transport with all the help you need. Set up a caregiver account online to book rides for parents or others. Discounts available.

    High level of service — ambulatory and wheelchair accessible.

  • Tiger Transports

    Accessible transport to appointments, plus medical escort to and from surgery. Will pick up prescriptions and help you into your home.

  • Royal Express

    10 years of safe, affordable, accessible transport. Available 24/7.

  • Arizona Care Transport

    Doctor's appointments, recreation, long-distance trips, and pharmacy pick-ups.

  • Gentle Turns

    High level of service — ambulatory and accessible. Safe, reliable, compassionate care, available 24/7.

  • GMT Care

    Non-emergency ground medical transport for over 10 years.

  • EVR (East Valley Rides)

    Works with Ride Choice. Hospital discharge, dialysis, same-day urgent response, physical therapy, and bariatric transport.

  • Patient Transport

    Vehicles equipped for wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, stretchers, and Broda chairs for comfortable, secure transport.

  • VA Transport

    Free contracted rides for veterans to medical appointments at any VA clinic or hospital.

    When you call, ask for ext. 7650, option 1.

  • Be Connected

    Many veterans' services, including transportation. With the Trips program, sign up 7 days ahead to get rides approved. Free ride resources also offered.
