Get ready for the Sun City West Witches Ride for Charity, discover simple ways to make your home safer and come say hello at the Recreation Centers of Sun City West Newcomers Open House. A Safer Home Starts with Simple Changes
Could a loose rug or dim hallway be a fall risk? Residents are invited to join Sun City West Foundation in partnership with Arizona Fire & Medical Authority for a free In-Home Safety and Fall Prevention Class. From clearing trip hazards to improving lighting, discover easy changes that can make your home safer.

Start Your Broomsticks | Ride & Give
Grab Your Witch Hat, It’s Almost Time to Ride!
Gather your friends, plan your costumes and give your golf cart, bicycle or scooter a spooky makeover! The Sun City West Witches Ride for Charity returns Friday, October 30, bringing Halloween spirit to the streets of Sun City West.
Join the festive parade, then keep the fun going at Beardsley Park with live music, food trucks and raffle prizes. Donations are encouraged to support SCW Foundation/Helping Hands and Benevilla and their work serving local seniors. Participants who register and donate will be entered for a chance to win special prizes.

Legacy and Charitable Giving Workshop - November 10
Planning for the future can also be an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Join Sun City West Foundation for an educational workshop exploring charitable and legacy giving, including giving from your IRA and how Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) may fit into your plans.
Explore ways to support the causes you care about today and the legacy you hope to leave.
This workshop is for educational purposes and is not intended as tax or financial advice.

Music Bingo - November 12
Get ready for another round of favorite tunes and friendly competition! Gather your friends and join us for Music Bingo on November 12. This popular event draws a crowd, and a limited number of individual seats and reserved tables will be available.
An $80 donation is requested to reserve a full table of eight. To reserve a table of eight, please enter all eight guests’ names when registering.

Scammers are getting creative. Join Sun City West Foundation in partnership with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office for an educational presentation on recognizing consumer scams and protecting yourself and your personal information.

Safe Walker Program | Be Seen, Stay Safe
Shorter Days, Brighter Walks
A stroll with a neighbor. An evening outing with your dog. A few extra steps after dinner. As the days grow shorter, make visibility part of your walking routine.
Sun City West Foundation’s Safe Walker Program offers free reflective wristbands to help you stand out in low light. It’s a simple addition to your walking essentials right alongside comfortable shoes and a bottle of water.
Stop by the Foundation Monday–Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon to pick up yours, and encourage your walking buddy to do the same!
Wristbands are available one per person, up to two per household. Donations are appreciated to help support the program.
